Limited Warranty

1. Equipment & Warranty Coverage

1.1 Equipment

All equipment installed by Protection4Less must be properly used and reasonably maintained by the customer after installation. Damage caused by neglect, misuse, or improper maintenance is not covered.

1.2 Equipment Warranty

  • Equipment warranties  may vary and typically range from one (24) months to (30) months, according with the type of installation and equipment.
  • Warranty coverage applies only to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
  • Manufacturer warranty terms may apply in addition to this limited warranty.

1.3 Installation Labor Warranty

  • Installation labor is covered by a two (2) year limited warranty from the date of installation.
  • This warranty covers installation-related issues only and does not extend to equipment failure caused by external factors.

1.4 Warranty Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
  • Tampering or unauthorized modifications
  • Acts of nature or weather-related damage
  • Electrical issues, power surges, or lightning
  • Improper grounding or third-party electrical work
  • Unauthorized repairs or service
  • Normal wear and cosmetic changes

2. Installation Conditions

The customer understands and agrees that drilling, mounting, and wiring may be required. Minor cosmetic marks may occur during normal installation. Additional materials or labor not included in the original package may result in additional charges.

3. Camera Performance & Network Dependence

System performance depends on the customer’s internet speed, Wi‑Fi coverage, and network stability. Protection4Less is not responsible for poor Wi‑Fi, weak signal areas, or internet service provider issues.

4. System Usage & Customer Responsibilities

Once installed and confirmed working, the customer is responsible for system operation, monitoring, and account security. Protection4Less does not access footage without explicit permission for support.

5. Remote Viewing & App Setup

App setup assistance is provided at installation. App functionality depends on third‑party software and updates. Remote access depends on the customer’s internet service and device configuration.

6. Limitation of Liability

Protection4Less is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of recordings or failure to capture video footage due to system malfunction, power loss, network issues, storage failure, user error, or third-party services. The customer is responsible for periodically checking the system to confirm proper operation and recording. Liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of covered equipment or installation services as outlined in this limited warranty.

7. Warranty Validity & Payment Terms

Warranty coverage is valid only when the installation invoice has been paid in full. Any unpaid balance, missed payment, chargeback, or reversed payment may result in the suspension or voiding of warranty coverage until the account is brought current.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with installation, the customer agrees to these Limited Warranty and Installation Terms.
