These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, security camera installation services, and any related equipment or support provided by Protection4Less. By using our website or hiring our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Overview
Protection4Less provides professional security camera installation services for residential and commercial properties.Services may include, but are not limited to:
- On-site evaluation
- Security camera system installation
- Wiring and hardware setup
- System configuration
- Remote viewing or mobile app setup
- Troubleshooting and support
- Sale of security camera equipment and accessories
2. Quotes & Pricing
- Quotes are based on information provided by the customer.
- Final pricing may change due to actual installation conditions, wiring complexity, material requirements, or unforeseen challenges.
- Any additional costs will be communicated and approved before work continues.
- Deposits may be required prior to installation.
3. Customer Responsibilities
By scheduling an installation, the customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about the property.
- Ensure safe and unobstructed access to installation areas.
- Obtain all required permissions (landlord, HOA, property management, etc.).
- Confirm compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Secure valuable or fragile items during installation.
4. Equipment & Warranty
4.1 Equipment
All installed equipment must be properly used and reasonably maintained by the customer after installation.
4.2 Warranty
- Equipment warranties vary by manufacturer and typically range from one (1) year to three (3) years.
- Installation labor is covered by a one (1) year limited warranty.
- Warranty coverage does not apply to misuse, tampering, weather-related damage, electrical issues, or unauthorized repairs.

5. Installation Conditions
The customer understands that:
- Drilling, mounting, and wiring may be required.
- Minor cosmetic marks may occur during normal installation.
- Camera quality, remote access, and wireless performance depend on internet speed and Wi-Fi coverage.
- Protection4Less is not responsible for poor Wi-Fi, weak signal areas, or internet service provider issues.
6. System Usage & Responsibilities
Once the system is installed and confirmed operational:
- The customer is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring the system.
- Protection4Less does not monitor, store, or access camera footage without explicit customer permission for support purposes.
- The customer is responsible for password security and account access.
- Protection4Less is not responsible for lost passwords, forgotten credentials, or customer-owned device issues.
7. Remote Viewing & App Setup
- Assistance with app setup is provided at the time of installation.
- App functionality depends on third-party software and services.
- Updates to apps or firmware may affect features.
- Remote access depends on the customer’s internet service, router configuration, and mobile device settings.
8. Payments & Refunds
- Payment in full is due upon completion of installation.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled installation may result in a cancellation fee.
- Chargebacks for completed work may result in service suspension or legal recovery actions.
9. Animal Security & Property Owner Responsibilities
9.1 Securing Animals During Installation
- All pets must be secured, restrained, or relocated during installation.
- Animals must be kept away from technicians, tools, and work areas.
- Aggressive or protective animals must be contained before technician arrival.
9.2 Liability for Animal Behavior
- The customer is fully responsible for all animals on the property.
- Protection4Less is not liable for injuries caused by animals.
- Installation may be paused or canceled if animals pose a safety risk.
9.3 Damage Caused by Animals
The customer assumes responsibility for damage caused by animals, including:
- Chewed or damaged cables
- Dislodged cameras or equipment
- Interference with tools or ladders
Damage caused by animals is not covered under warranty.
9.4 Access Restrictions Due to Animals
- Installations may be delayed or rescheduled if safe access is not possible.
- Additional fees may apply for return visits caused by animal-related issues.
10. Limitation of Liability
Protection4Less is not liable for:
- Camera malfunction or downtime
- Crimes or property damage occurring despite camera installation
- Loss of footage due to hardware failure, user error, or third-party services
- Internet outages or Wi-Fi performance issues
- Damage caused by animals on the property
11. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations
- Appointment times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs.
- Customers must provide 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Missed appointments may result in a service fee.
