By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Site or Services.
- Services Provided
Protection4Less provides professional security camera installation, maintenance, and related services for residential and commercial properties.
By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to any specific service agreements, quotes, and project details provided at the time of service.
- Animals on the Property
At Protection4Less, the safety and well-being of both our service providers and your animals are a top priority. We recognize that many properties have pets or other animals, and we aim to ensure our services are conducted safely and efficiently.
- A) Disclosure of Animals: Before any installation or maintenance service, you must inform us of any animals present on the property. This includes domestic pets (e.g., dogs, cats) and other animals (e.g., livestock, birds).
- B) Containment: You agree to ensure that all animals are securely contained, restrained, or kept in a safe area during the service appointment.
- C) Liability for Animal-Related Incidents: Protection4Less is not responsible for any injury to animals or damage to property if animals are not properly contained during our visit. This includes risks of interaction with technicians or equipment.
- D) Aggressive or Unpredictable Animals: If you have aggressive or unpredictable animals, you must make arrangements to ensure the safety of our technicians and your pets.
- E) Access to Work Areas: Our technicians must have safe and unobstructed access to all necessary areas for installation or service. Please ensure these areas are clear of animals during our visit.
- F) Rescheduling Due to Animal Interference: If we cannot safely access required areas due to animal behavior or presence, we may reschedule the service. Additional fees may apply.
- Liability and Damage
- A) You acknowledge that Protection4Less is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by animals to equipment, tools, or personnel during service visits. This includes chewed wires, damaged cameras, or technician injuries caused by animals.
- B) If service is delayed, interrupted, or rescheduled due to unrestrained animals, additional charges may apply for rescheduling or extended labor time.
- User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when requesting services or communicating with Protection4Less.
- Use our Site and Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Ensure the installation environment (home, business, or property) is safe, accessible, and free from hazards that may obstruct or endanger our technicians.
- Warranty and Limited Liability
6.1 Warranty Coverage
We offer a [24-month/36-month] limited warranty on all installed security cameras and related hardware, covering defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty includes:
- Repair or replacement of defective parts.
- Labor costs associated with repair or replacement.
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents, misuse, tampering, or weather-related events.
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or software changes.
- Power surges, vandalism, or acts of nature beyond our control.
- Water damage or exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions.
- Changes to the original installation, internet router, or service provider made without our approval.
- The warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
6.3 Violation of Warranty
The warranty becomes void if:
- The security system is altered or tampered with without authorization.
- The installation environment is not properly maintained (e.g., excessive humidity or extreme temperatures).
- Instructions for operation and maintenance are not followed.
- Payments for products or services are missing or incomplete.
In the event of a warranty violation, the customer may be responsible for all repair or replacement costs.
- Payment Terms
By requesting our installation services, you agree to pay all fees and charges as outlined in your service agreement or invoice. Payment is due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise specified in writing.
- Dispute Resolution
Any disputes or claims arising from these Terms or from your use of our Services shall be handled through the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer & Business Affairs (DCBA) in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
- Modifications to Terms
Protection4Less reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our Site or Services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
