These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, our security-camera installation services, and any related products or support provided by Protection4Less. By using our website or hiring our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

  1. Service Overview

We provide professional security-camera installation services for residential and commercial properties.

Services may include:

– On-site evaluation

– Camera system installation

– Wiring and hardware setup

– System configuration

– Remote-view or mobile app setup

– Troubleshooting and support

– Sales of security-camera equipment and accessories

 

  1. Quotes & Pricing

– Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer.

– Final pricing may change depending on real installation conditions, wiring complexity, material requirements, or unexpected challenges.

– Any additional costs will be communicated before work continues.

– Deposits may be required to before installation.

 

  1. Customer Responsibilities

By scheduling an installation, the customer agrees to:

– Provide accurate details about the property.

– Ensure safe, clear access to installation locations.

– Obtain required permissions (landlord, HOA, property management, etc.).

– Confirm that installations comply with local regulations.

– Secure valuable items during installation.

  1. Equipment & Warranty

4.1 Equipment

All installed equipment must be properly maintained by the customer after installation.

4.2 Warranty

– Equipment warranties may vary for 1 year to 3 years

– Installation labor warranty is  1 years

– Warranties do not cover misuse, tampering, weather damage, electrical issues, or unauthorized repairs.

  1. Installation Conditions

The customer understands that:

– Drilling, mounting, and wiring may be required.

– Minor cosmetic marks may occur during normal installation.

– Camera quality and wireless performance depend on the property’s internet speed and Wi-Fi coverage.

– We are not responsible for poor Wi-Fi, weak signal areas, or internet provider issues.

  1. System Usage & Responsibilities

Once the system is installed and confirmed working:

– The customer is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring the system.

– We do not view, store, or access camera footage unless given explicit permission for support purposes.

– The customer is responsible for password security and account access.

– We are not responsible for lost passwords, forgotten logins, or user-device problems.

 

  1. Remote Viewing & App Setup

We assist with app setup, but:

– App functionality depends on third-party software.

– Updates to apps or firmware may affect features.

– Remote access depends on the customer’s internet service provider, router configuration, and mobile device settings.

 

  1. Payments & Refunds

– Payment in full is due at the time the technicians complete the installation

– Cancellations made less than 2 days before the scheduled installation may result in a cancellation fee to cover restocking, scheduling, and transportation costs.

– Chargebacks for completed work may result in legal recovery actions.

  1. Animal Security & Property Owner Responsibilities

To ensure the safety of our technicians and the smooth completion of installation services, the customer agrees to the following:

9.1 Securing Animals During Installation

– All pets (including dogs, cats, or other animals) must be secured, restrained, or relocated during installation.

– Animals must be kept away from technicians, equipment, tools, and work areas.

– Aggressive or protective pets must be securely contained before the technician arrives.

9.2 Liability for Animal Behavior

– The customer is fully responsible for the behavior of any animals on the property.

– We are not liable for injuries caused by animals, including bites, scratches, or other incidents.

– If an animal poses a safety risk, the technician may pause or cancel the installation, and a service fee may still apply.

 

9.3 Damage Caused by Animals

The customer assumes full responsibility for any damage caused by their animals, including:

– Chewing or damaging cables, wires, or equipment

– Knocking down cameras or hardware

– Interfering with tools, ladders, or installation materials

Damage caused by pets is not covered under any warranty.

 

9.4 Access Restrictions Due to Animals

– If a technician cannot safely access an area due to loose or aggressive animals, installation may be delayed or rescheduled.

– Additional fees may apply for rescheduling or return visits caused by animal-related access issues.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

– Losses caused by camera malfunction or downtime

– Crimes or property damage that occur even with cameras installed

– Loss of footage due to hardware failure, user error, or third-party services

– Internet outages or poor Wi-Fi performance

– Damage caused by pets or animals on the property

 

  1. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations

– Appointment times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or previous installations.

– Customers must give 24–48 hours’ notice for cancellations.

– Missed appointments may result in a fee.
