Project Overview
We recently completed a commercial security camera installation project at a plaza property in Buena Park CA. The project involved installing an eight-camera surveillance system to improve monitoring coverage around key areas of the property. The system was designed to provide visibility for common areas and business surroundings while allowing one of the tenants to monitor activity through the recording system.

Because the property structure did not include crawl space access for running wiring, the installation required a different approach to route the camera cables efficiently. Careful planning was necessary to maintain a clean appearance while ensuring reliable cable protection and long-term performance.

Commercial Security Camera Cabling and Installation Process
One of the installation challenges involved routing camera wiring without crawl space access. To complete the installation, wiring was routed over roof areas and secured along the roof border where needed to provide a clean cable path.
Black Siamese security camera cable was used for the installation to support video transmission and power requirements while maintaining a professional appearance around the commercial property. The wiring layout was planned to reduce visible exposure and provide organized routing between camera locations and the recording equipment.

Camera Mounting and Equipment Setup
secured to provide stable coverage around the property. Additional protection measures were applied around cable entry points to help reduce exposure to weather conditions.
A specialized black roof sealant was applied around all camera cable entrance points to help protect against moisture and improve long-term durability. This additional step helps create a more secure seal where wiring enters the building structure.

NVR Recording System and Camera Monitoring Configuration
The recording system was installed toward the rear area of the business where equipment could be organized and protected. The NVR was configured to communicate with all installed cameras and provide centralized monitoring and recording functions.
After installation and configuration, the system displayed all camera views for complete property monitoring. The setup allows the tenant to review live camera footage and access recorded video when needed.

Remote Viewing and Surveillance Features
The completed surveillance system provides live viewing and recording capabilities for daily monitoring activities. Users can access the security camera system remotely through smartphones, tablets, and computers, allowing convenient access to camera feeds while away from the property.
The completed installation provides improved monitoring coverage for commercial property areas while maintaining organized equipment and cable management throughout the project.
