Project Overview
For this residential security camera installation project in La Habra CA, the customer requested a complete surveillance upgrade for a modern home using eight 24/7 color security cameras designed to provide full-time color video monitoring, including improved visibility during nighttime conditions. A two-way audio camera was also installed at the front door area to support communication and provide an additional layer of awareness for entry activity.
Before beginning the installation, the customer clearly explained the desired camera coverage areas and the important locations that required monitoring. Camera positions were planned to help cover the front entry, garage area, side access points, and backyard sections while reducing blind spots around the property. The goal of the project was to provide wider surveillance coverage and improve visibility throughout the home using properly positioned cameras and reliable recording equipment.
Wiring Installation and Conduit Routing
During this residential security camera installation project in La Habra CA, some sections of the home did not have accessible attic space for routing camera wiring. Because of the house design, alternative installation methods were required to reach certain camera locations while maintaining a clean and reliable installation.
For several camera locations, wiring was routed through available crawl space areas and combined with conduit pipe where needed to safely guide and protect the cables. This approach helped provide access to cameras that could not be reached through traditional attic routing while keeping the installation organized and reducing exposed wiring.
After the installation was completed, conduit sections were painted using white aerosol paint to help match the surrounding surfaces and improve the overall appearance of the finished work. The goal was to maintain both functionality and a cleaner finished look while preserving the style of the home.
