Expanding a 32-Channel Security Camera System in Cerritos, CA
We returned to this Cerritos property to expand an existing security camera system that we originally installed a few years ago. The customer needed additional coverage, so we upgraded the system from 13 to 17 cameras using high-resolution 4K security cameras for improved image clarity and monitoring.
This property is a two-story building, which adds complexity when running new wiring. Part of the installation required running cables through the crawl space to efficiently route wiring between floors. In addition, we installed conduit piping to run the wiring from the crawl space up to each camera location, ensuring a clean and secure path for the cables.
To maintain a professional and long-lasting installation, conduit was used in key exposed areas to protect the wiring and improve overall durability.
The system is powered by a 32-channel DVR, allowing plenty of room for future expansion while maintaining reliable performance across all cameras.
After completing the wiring and conduit installation, we proceeded with mounting the additional cameras in strategic locations to improve overall coverage of the property. Each camera was carefully positioned to eliminate blind spots and ensure clear visibility in key areas.
The newly installed 4K cameras provide sharp image quality, allowing the customer to monitor activity with greater detail. With the upgraded system now supporting 17 cameras, the property benefits from enhanced security while still having available channels for future expansion.
